From the 1913 diary of Tatiana Romanov:

“12 April. Friday… In the afternoon [we] walked with Papa, kayaked with the sisters…”

“14 April. Sunday….. everyone had breakfast together. Later Olga, Papa and I kayaked, it was really nice…”

“15 April. Monday… [we] went out in the garden, then kayaked…”

“Wednesday, 13 August… During the day went to the tower with Papa. Went kayaking…”

“Saturday, 16 August…During the day [we] rode bicycles, then kayaked…”
