From the 1913 diary of Olga Romanov:
Saturday. 6 April. Had lessons. At 11 o’cl. we 5 went to the Manege with Papa for the Svodny Cossack regiment parade. Very nice. Papa and Alexei were wearing the Urals uniforms. Had breakfast with Mama and Nastenka. In the afternoon broke ice with Papa. Sunny, warm, more than 15 degrees. Had tea with Papa and Mama. Had dinner with them and Count Grabbe. Everyone went to vsenoshnaya. So nice. Darling Mama also came and got tired.
