ON THIS DATE IN THEIR OWN WORDS: NICHOLAS II – 19 APRIL, 1915
From the 1915 diary of Nicholas II:
19th April. Sunday. Today it was a very hot day – in the train cars the temp. reached 22°. Despite the heat [I] had to read and finish the paperwork which was brought by three couriers. During [the reading of] certain pages got up to stretch my legs.
