From the 1913 diary of Olga Romanov:
Friday. 22 March. At 9 o’cl. 45 min. we 3 went to Petersburg with Papa to the Second All-Russian Craft Exhibition. Stayed there for 2 hours, walked around, looked at everything. Everything was interesting. Had breakfast at Grandmama’s with Uncle Petya, Aunt Olga and Irina, who also went to the exhibition. After we returned, broke ice with Papa in the garden. 8 degrees in the shade. It was foggy in the morning. Had dinner with Papa, Mama and Dmitri. In the evening played kolorito with Mama. She is not feeling well. [Our] brother, T., Mikhail, Pavel had tea with them. T came downstairs and had dinner. Went to bed at 10 o’cl.
