ROMANOV FAMILY: ON THIS DATE IN THEIR OWN WORDS. TATIANA ROMANOV. 22 JANUARY, 1915

From the 1915 diary of Tatiana Romanov:
“Thursday, 22 January. At 9.30 [we] 4 went with Papa and Mama to church for moleben. At 10 o’clock Papa departed. So sad. [We] two went to the infirmary. Bandaged Krat, Gordinsky, Belitsky, Otmarshteyn and Gumanyuk. Took photographs in each ward. Breakfast and lunch with Mama. At 2 o’clock Gogoberidze came to say goodbye at Mama’s. Then [we] walked. Sat a little with Aleksei, who is in bed as [his] leg and arm ache. Went to the Grand Palace. Had tea with Mama upstairs at Aleksei’s. Had lessons. After lunch we went to [see] ours. Sat with the Nizhegorodtzy. Put together a puzzle with Navruzov and Vachnadze, then worked. Returned, sat with Mama.”
