LOST ROMANOV FAMILY FILM

 

THE FALL OF THE ROMANOFFS: A lost film based on the last pre Russian revolution year of the Romanov family and Rasputin. It was released in 1917, BEFORE the execution of the Romanov family.
“THE FALL OF THE ROMANOFFS”: A lost film based on the life of Romanov family and Grigori Rasputin during the year just prior the Russian Revolution. The film was released in 1917, BEFORE the execution of the Romanov family. Nance O’Neill starred as Empress Alexandra, Alfred Hickman as Tsar Nicholas II and Edward Connelly as Rasputin.

The Fall of the Romanoffs (1917)  This film was released in New York City on September 6, 1917.

On this page I would like to spotlight a wonderful book about an extended member of the Romanov family. The book had been released a few years ago but for the most part it has flown under the radar. Based on photographic evidence, the Romanov family certainly had a favorite chair where they loved to pose. One can literally see the imperial children  grow up in these “chair” photos. “The Chair” was located in Empress Alexandra Feodorovna’s Mauve Boudoir, near the window.
