I always thought that Amelia Earhart resembled Grand Duchess Tatiana a lot more than any of the so-called “claimants” of any Romanov family member.
The famous American female pilot and the Russian Grand Duchess were even exactly the same age, being born only about a month apart in 1897!

Those two girls certainly did look alike. One could write an alternative history novel on how Tatiana was not killed outright, thanks to the jewels sewn into her corset acting as a bullet-proof vest. She then makes her way across Siberia and eventually, into Alaska, finally winding up in Kansas as Amelia Earhart. Thanks to her tutors, she reads, writes, and speaks English so language is not a barrier. She become the famous pilot and …. we can let our imaginations do the rest.
